About FactpitchBot

FactpitchBot visits public websites on behalf of Factpitch users to run automated checks (accessibility, email authentication, security headers, SEO basics, PDF inventory) and to read contact details the site itself publishes.

How it behaves

• Identifies itself with the user agent FactpitchBot/1.0.
• Obeys robots.txt. To block it: User-agent: FactpitchBot / Disallow: /.
• Makes at most one request per second to a host and reads a small number of pages per site.
• Does not submit forms, log in, or guess email addresses.

Received an email that used a Factpitch report?

Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works with one click. Use it and the sender can never email that address through Factpitch again.
